Registered Homeopath

My background is in Chemistry ; I worked for over 20 years as  Chartered Chemist in the pharmaceutical industry. Having had a lifelong interest in nature and natural health becoming a Homeopath felt like a natural thing to do and, following a chance meeting with a GP and a vet in 1995, who both practised Homeopathy and who impressed me with the results they were getting, I soon started a four year Diploma at the Welsh School of Homeopathy in Carmarthen graduating in 1999.

I love the way Homeopathy enables people to make profound changes in their health and lives in a gentle, natural way. As a registered member of the Society of Homeopaths, which represents the UK's largest group of professional Homeopaths, I hold full professional insurance and practise in accordance with their ethics and standards.

Why Naturopathy

What is Homeopathy?
Homeopathy is a natural, holistic system of medicine which has been in use for over 200 years. Worldwide over 200 million people use Homeopathy regularly. It works by stimulating your own natural healing ability, strengthening the immune system and restoring balance. Safe, gentle and effective, it is a healthcare system that can be used for adults, children and babies. It is also a highly sustainable system; only a tiny amount of the source substance is required to produce a remedy using alcohol and water which can then be stored for years. This safe, clean production method means that there are no toxic residues left in the food chain, soil or waterways.

What happens during a consultation?

Homeopathy recognises the link between mental, physical and emotional health. Living in our fast paced modern society many of us don't have time to pay attention to what is happening in our bodies and make the connection as to how we are feeling in ourselves.
An initial consultation usually takes between 60 and 90 minutes. This is an opportunity for you to take time and discuss in detail how you are feeling on all levels. Following this a remedy is prescribed and follow-up sessions arranged to monitor your progress.

Research
In an age of information saturation where the click of a mouse brings you a myriad of opinions, often expressed as facts, it can be difficult to find objective information however there is a large body of evidence to support the effectiveness of Homeopathy. The Homeopathy Research Institute is a UK based charity dedicated to promoting high quality research into this field.
